Coffee Recipe: Iced Coffee with Sweetened Milk

Refresh your summer days with a delicious sweet iced milk coffee ready in less than three minutes.
With only four ingredients – coffee, cold milk, brown sugar and ice – this recipe combines simplicity and speed for an irresistible result.

During heat waves, nothing beats a homemade iced coffee to revive yourself.
The recipe I’m sharing with you is easy, quick and requires only:

  • Freshly prepared espresso coffee
  • Cold milk
  • Brown sugar
  • Crushed ice

Without further ado, let’s move on to the preparation.

  • 1 espresso coffee
  • 3 teaspoons of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cold semi-skimmed milk
  • Crushed ice
  • Preparation time: 3 minutes
  1. Add the crushed ice to a cup.
  2. Pour the brown sugar and milk over the ice.
  3. Place the cup in the refrigerator while preparing the coffee.
This allows the sugar to dissolve more effectively, even in a cold liquid.
  1. Prepare your espresso coffee and pour it into the cup containing the sweetened milk and ice.
Tip: pulling the coffee first into a small espresso cup allows for better control of the extraction.
  1. Mix well.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy a fresh and indulgent drink.

You can replace cow’s milk with plant-based milk (almond, oat, soy…) for an equally delicious version.
The taste will be slightly different, but the freshness will remain the same.

Tip
If you have an electric milk frother, use the “cold” function to froth the milk with the sugar before adding it to the ice.
The sugar will dissolve better and the foam will provide an even more pleasant texture.
